Effective rules, versioned onchain.
These Terms are effective for Hood Circuit access. Paid ranked play is available only while the vault recognizes this version's hash and an on-chain round is open. Practice mode remains free.
Adults only; local restrictions still apply.
A participant must be at least 18 and at least the age of legal majority where they live, have legal capacity, control the wallet used, and not be subject to sanctions or other applicable restrictions. Hood Circuit uses a global access policy, but global availability does not permit participation where applicable law prohibits it. A participant must not conceal location or identity or use another person as a proxy.
See Eligibility & Access.
One entry unlocks one skill run.
Hood Circuit is a one-input timing game. Each confirmed ranked entry unlocks one continuous run that ends on the first invalid collision. A player may buy another entry while a round remains open. Payment does not change rotation rules, scoring, difficulty or odds. Practice runs are free, local and excluded from the ranked board.
A blockchain transaction is the receipt.
- The production entry is 1 USDG plus the user's network transaction costs.
- The wallet accepts the exact terms commitment assigned to the round before entry.
- An entry is valid only after the V3 vault confirms it and binds a unique attempt identifier to the paying wallet.
- Each valid entry transaction can issue only one ranked challenge and one verified result.
- The participant controls the wallet, reviews every transaction and is responsible for key security, network selection and gas.
The server replays the run.
- The paying wallet signs the completed score and a commitment to the ordered input trace.
- The verifier replays the trace under fixed ranked rules and accepts only an exact result.
- Expired, duplicated, impossible, reordered, incomplete or high-confidence automated traces may be rejected.
- Only each wallet's highest eligible verified score ranks.
- Equal scores are ordered by earlier verified submission, then normalized wallet address.
- A five-minute recovery and score-submission window follows the displayed round end.
Controls reduce abuse but cannot guarantee that cheating will never occur. Material verifier incidents may require suspension or cancellation rather than discretionary score replacement.
The complete round value follows 80 / 10 / 10.
The complete round value consists of entries, sponsor funds committed to that round and inherited rollover. After the round and verification window close, the settlement operator submits the deterministic top-three result commitment to the vault.
| Destination | Complete value | V3 rule |
|---|---|---|
| 1st wallet | 40% | 50% of player allocation |
| 2nd wallet | 24% | 30% of player allocation |
| 3rd wallet | 16% | 20% of player allocation |
| Project treasury | 10% | Claimable by configured treasury |
| Next round | 10% | Locked rollover |
At least three distinct entered wallets are required. Winners claim from their own wallets. V3 sets no prize-claim expiry, but claiming requires network gas. Uncommitted sponsor funds remain owner-withdrawable; once committed they follow the complete-value allocation. Player entries and rollover are not owner-withdrawable.
Cancelled entries become onchain refunds.
If the owner cancels an open round, every paid entry remains an onchain refund liability. Each participant must call the vault from the wallet that entered. Committed sponsor funds return to the owner's uncommitted sponsor balance; inherited rollover remains protected for a future round. Network gas and unrelated wallet or bridge costs are not refunded.
Compete as one real player.
Prohibited conduct includes bots or scripts; input automation; client, API or transaction manipulation; replay or duplicate submissions; collusion; multi-wallet use to evade one-person controls; identity, location or sanctions evasion; denial-of-service activity; and attempts to exploit the vault, verifier or another participant. Suspected abuse may be blocked or investigated.
Entry funds can be lost.
Smart contracts, tokens, wallets, bridges, RPC services and blockchains can fail, be delayed, be exploited or change. Transactions can be irreversible. USDG and any future $HCIR token may lose value or liquidity. $HCIR is not equity, debt, a deposit, dividend, revenue right or promise of profit. No price, listing, resale market or return is guaranteed.
Hood Circuit is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Robinhood Markets, Inc., Robinhood Chain, PONS or their affiliates.
Each round keeps its accepted version.
The service may be paused, modified or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, infrastructure or integrity reasons. A later Terms version applies only when separately published and committed for future entries. Participants are responsible for taxes or reporting duties that apply to them. Questions, rights requests and complaints may be sent through official Hood Circuit channels linked from the website. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
